The Blind Side’s Leigh Anne Touhy to Keynote at The Pot of Gold Luncheon 2016

LeighAnneTuohyOne of my all-time favorite, feel-good movies is The Blind Side.  The Blind Side is an inspirational story about a family that opens its heart, a young man living in an unfortunate circumstance and one motivated mama.  Leigh Anne Tuohy is the powerhouse matriarch at the center of the story behind the blockbuster movie.  She is also a best-selling author and a fabulously engaging speaker.  It is no surprise that Mrs. Tuohy will bring her own uplifting brand of encouragement and inspiration to the annual fundraising luncheon for Rainbow Days.

The upcoming Pot of Gold Luncheon benefiting Rainbow Days, Inc. will be held at the Omni in April of 2016.  Rainbow Days is a agency that serves to reach children and adolescents that are in at-risk circumstances and vulnerable to the cruelties of life.  The community organization provides services and programs that help to equip the children with skills and resources to cope, overcome and rise above the effects of poverty, drug and substance abuse and prepare them to lead their best lives yet.   This year’s celebratory luncheon hopes to bring in over $250,000 that will directly impact the lives of 11,000 children and families right here in the Dallas community.
