The Director of five year old Park Cities School of Music, Eva Brandys and Ewa Korzeniowski have partnered to Co-Found Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts (LCFA) and are inviting the public to an amazing grand opening event. This Open House offers performances by talented student performers from their affiliate school—Park Cities School of Music as well as Select instructors that include Co-Founder Eva Brandys, where a painter and dancer will adapt their performance to her original composition. Throughout the event, the schools’ instructors will also offer complimentary ‘talent evaluations’ which helps identify a child’s natural inclinations, interests and long term artistic potential. In addition guests of all ages can participate in a Karaoke contest, engage in dance, music and art activity stations and enjoy complimentary sip, bites and amusement by neighborhood favorites including Primo Brothers Pizza, Society Bakery, Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense, The Photo Van and more.
Eva Brandys is a pianist and Poland native with a Masters of Music in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelors in Piano Performance from Dallas Baptist University. Eva has over two decades of experience as a piano instructor in both private and group settings. Ewa Korzeniowska is a painter who spent her childhood at her grandparent’s music school. She has a family heritage of opera singers, pianists, guitarists and violinists whom inspires Ewa’s cultural and business influence in the Lakewood fine arts program. Brandys’ and Korzeniowska’s vision is not only to identify and refine young talent but ignite camaraderie amongst students of the varying disciplines and dreams. LCFA is the only fine arts program in Dallas that offers art, music and dance curriculums in one location. As an affiliate school of Park Cities School of Music LCFA upholds their reputation for excellence and consistency in teaching. Their highly-trained and experienced instructors work in fully equipped studios and treat all students and their parents with respect. Through their program of three distinct fine art genres the program cultivates not only individual talents yet a community that appreciates all the arts, that embraces fellow artists and encourages creative collaboration. Individual and group studio lessons, in-home and online classes are available. The curriculum offers a variety of week day and weekend classes for all ages in dance, art and music.
