Resource Center’s Toast To Life Gala Journeys Down The Rabbit Hole With ‘Mad Hatter’s Ball’ Theme

madhattersResource Center is set to host its 18th annual Toast To Life gala to raise monies for the organization’s programs and services. This year’s Alice in Wonderland-inspired theme is “Mad Hatter’s Ball,” . Chairs are  Judy Sherman and Steve Atkinson and the fabulous evening  will be emceed by Steve Kemble, America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru heard weekly on 103.7 Lite FM. Guests are encourage to wear eye-catching hats or other Wonderland-inspired attire as they sample epicurean creations from acclaimed Dallas chefs, sip specialty cocktails and dance the night away to music from famed drag queen DJ Lady Bunny. Attendees can also tour the “Queen of Heart’s Garden” to bid on a vast array of unique auction items ranging from custom art and luxury hotel stays to exotic vacation packages and fine dining gift certificates. “Each year, Toast To Life brings together North Texas’ LGBT community and our allies and supporters for an epic evening of food, fun and fundraising all in support of Resource Center,” said Cece Cox, Resource Center’s CEO. “This year we have even more to celebrate as Resource Center prepares to finish out its capital campaign and move into a brand new building. It’s a perfect reason to go through the looking glass while raising awareness and funds for our future.”
